In " A supermarket in California” simply by Allen Ginsberg, he uses symbolism and literary allusions to convey a man going through an emergency between the modern American consumerism, an individual's distance with character; following the techniques for his ideal Walt Whitman by living a psychic natural life-style and also tell a story regarding his seek out sexual acceptance among the society for homosexuals. Walt Whitman's work relates to nature and just how modern societies have effects on the organic world.
